MEMBERS AND MEMBERSHIP

CODIC is owned by the co-operative movement through representative membership of Co-operative Societies. The current membership is 362 co-operative societies drawn from the 47 Counties of the Republic of Kenya.

Societies are encouraged to join CODIC so as to uplift the standard of computerization within the movement. At CODIC, we are a co-operative society and fully understand your operations thus we have what it takes to meet your needs in terms of service provision as well as returns on investments. 

For a society to become a member, one is required to fill the Registration Form and pay Registration Fee of Kshs. 1,000. The minimum shares is 10 and members are encouraged to gradually build their shares to 100. Each share is worth 1,000 


At the Annual General Meeting, the 50 Delegates will elect Board Members who will serve for a term of three (3) years. Every year, one third (1/3) of the board members will retire and new ones will be elected to replace them. Board Members are expected to have a minimum of 2,000 shares.  

Elections are held in each province for delegates who will serve for a term of one (1) year. For one to become a Delegate, the minimum shareholding that the society is expected to have is 1,000 shares. The number of delegates is currently fifty (50). 

As a co-operative society, our activity is information processing. Our core business, therefore is investing in the provision of cutting edge Information & Communication Technology products, solutions and services to all types of co-operative societies within the Republic of Kenya.
These range from computer hardware, software, ATM Services, SMS Banking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Wide Area Networks, to Stationery among others.

CODIC Delegates Elections are held in all the provinces yearly headed by the Provincial Co-operative Officers where a total of 50 Delegates are elected based on the membership in the provinces of the member societies
